Capar of Cardak Sires First Litter in U.S.

Two dark males and a light-colored female are the result of Çapar's first breeding in the U.S. to Shepherds Rest Ilik Duman ("Ilik"). One male is brindle and the other two have gorgeous coats but hard to tell yet on brindling. (Yes, only three puppies. Just went to the vet to x-ray and we have 3 healthy and huge puppies with no more to whelp!) Ilik was chosen as the first female to produce Çapar offspring. She was the female pick-of-the-Shepherds-Rest-litters since 2006, due to conformation, temperament, and working ability. She also has the distinction of having a very large head, which is unusual for a female and rarely seen in the U.S. Go to www.shepherds-rest.com and the pedigree page for information on OFA certifications and other details of the parents of this litter. And stay tuned to this blog for weekly updates and more.
