Moose X Arap puppies 11 days old

This litter was born on 4-5-17.  There are 2 males and 2 females.  See bottom of post for more information. Pics below were taken 4-16-17 (11 days old).

Birth weight:  19.6 oz

One week old weight:  42.6 oz

Two week old weight:  4 lbs 8 oz

The first four puppies (seen above) were born naturally and the chubby-bubs were healthy.  Mom seemed finished with whelping and settled in for a nap.  We figured she was finished whelping.  Over 24 hours later, a pup was born dead.  Two more deceased pups were taken by C-section that second day.  All were normal development and normal weights comparable to their living siblings.  We figure that Moose may just have whelped late and the last 3 puppies detached from the placenta too soon before being born.
