Anatolian Eye Color: Breeder Information

Eye color in Anatolian Shepherd Dogs:  “Usually, the wider the band, and the darker the band is, on the outside of the iris, the higher your odds are your eye will darken.  See how black that is?  See the pupil and then the color, then the band on the edge?  If it was that blue color all the way to the edge, it would end up being a very light eye.”  “I think his are gonna be amber.  It’s a shade of brown.” (Rakun X Duman litter evaluation at Pat Hastings’ home on 10-24-16, 9 min. 30 sec. into the video, re:  fawn short coat male 2 at 8 weeks old.)
